This isn’t about picking a pretty word. It’s about choosing the frequency that will shape who you become.

As we stand on the edge of a new year, many of us feel the familiar pull to set intentions, make goals, or declare resolutions. But what if 2026 didn’t ask you to do more—what if it asked you to become more?

This is the heart of this 2026 Word of the Year blog: a living, breathing ritual designed to help you feel your word into existence—through your body, your energy, the seasons, and the moon itself.

Your word becomes:

You ask: “Who am I becoming?”

The 2026 Word of the Year is intentionally nonlinear. You don’t move through this by force—you move through it gently by using your intuition.

  • Does my body soften or brace when I say it?

  • how you make decisions

  • how you speak to yourself

You are not performing the word.

You are allowing it to shape your behavior naturally.

At the end of the month, reflect briefly:

  • How did this word support me?

  • Where did I resist it?

  • What did I learn about myself?

No judgment. This is just information.

Important Permission

You may:

  • keep the same word for multiple months

  • change your word mid-month

  • abandon a word that no longer fits

This practice is adaptive by design.
